Chorlton-cum-Hardy is a suburb of South Manchester with a lively community and many independent businesses, shops, cafés and restaurants.
Some of our citizens and organisations have started Fairtrade Chorlton, a project to:
Raise awareness of fair trade in the local community
Persuade retailers and eateries in Chorlton to sell fairtrade products to customers
Persuade all businesses to provide fairtrade products to staff
We have produced a pledge form for people to sign to commit to selling or providing fairtrade products. If you are a business in Chorlton, please fill it in and send it to us by fax (0870 167 4655), post (PO Box 382, Manchester, M20 2ZU) or email info@AfSL.greenisp.org
